SENEM PEACE CREATIVE
Self taught in art, my diversity of professions effects my approach in my artworks and complementing my vision of art in an abstract form. Dynamism and movement, bold colours and layers are the main signatures in my works, which often recall to mythical and ancient features. Mythology is not just some enchanted tales from an unknown time. It consists of metaphors that tell us about our collective inner worlds. In my paintings, I carried away a balance of destruction and rebirth, creating a contemporary mysticism of hope, power and ecstasy. From Greek and Northern myths to Lascaux cave paintings, there is a lot to inspire and learn from.
In my paintings, my aim is to catch a flowing dynamism and creating different layers of contrasts with colours and textures in an abstract expressionist approach. Bold colours and movement are the main elements in my works. I am more drawn into abstracts on my paintings, as I am already related with realistic forms in my photography and I want to explore different forms of reality on different media. I’m not seeking to define reality. I’m accepting it as it is.
